Your self-trajectory of a truth that lies to me gets me down, to the point I am incapable of moving forwards.

The wonderment of a trajectory flight to Paris makes me believe in the lust for life. Open patisseries, cafés, and clubs. The romantic elegy – a mournful poem, says finally an ‘end to war’, and the beginning of a peaceful brigade. There are two whispers to remember: 1. “Pass on the love” and 2. “Lord bring the light”. We imagine ourselves orbiting each other as if we were all made in heaven together, by demand we are recognisable as similar occupiers of truth. Even Extinction Rebellion stands for love of an environmental repose. Since COVID-19 we are becoming more and more infallible, and we know we are not invincible to neighbourly living, from China to Upstate New York, and all corners of the world. We must not forget these restrictions are global. The atmosphere seems to carry us, from time-zone to time-zone, and we are in Paris in London, but one germ is incurable so far, as a violating virus.

So, what is our economy doing? And what is it made up of? Services/ Manufacturing/ Construction and Tourism. Our lack of product means we must begin to ‘make’ again, and not rely on imports of all our goods for households. In September, 20% of adults have been working from home, 95% of business now has continued trading, 1% have permanently ceased trading, and 4% have temporarily ceased trading.

This is rather optimistic, of the economy doing a U-turn from the biggest recession known to man. 11% of business have been on furlough leave, 62% of business have received top-ups, and 4% of business is planning to close some sites, those we presume who have temporarily ceased trading. 4%, again, maybe the same 4%, have no cash reserves. 42% have less than 6 months cash reserves, 35% have more than 6 months cash reserves, and 20% are not sure.

Over half of business are owed outstanding payments, which have not ceased trading, due to the coronavirus. In June, the maximum number of people working from home, was 40%. We know now we are resourced well enough to work from home, but I feel these statistics are optimistic of a brighter future together.

Is it time to break the silence in conversation? It could not be a worse time to, yet through bouts of adversity we find as Brits we often do. No-longer is the terminology one of weather but of COVID-19 restrictions. We probably do not even recognise the weather of today though, hot balmy days, and chilling nights. We must accept the science and listen to those who have more power than us to influence the light of environmentalism. Tropical Tenerife is seeing cooler, windier, humid climes, with similar rainfall as always and hot seas. The sea last year was on average 21 degrees Celsius, the wind up to 5.2mph, the average sunlight hours in the day 8 and up to 10 maximum, and temperatures never more than 30 degrees Celsius but as cold as 15 degrees in the winter months. Tenerife – a fine place to live, is a proponent of a microcosm representing all islands. Similarly, in the UK it has not been hotter, but cooler, more rainfall, and more, windy. The ice age is upon us.

The artistic collaborations of my previous Architecture office in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain: Artengo, Menis & Pastrana, ‘AMP Arquitectos’, undoubtedly friends with the originators of fame for Art & Architecture collaborations: ‘Herzog and de Meuron’ of Basel, Switzerland, are the life force of innovation in building. The magic of collaborating is an artist’s impression of a project, through the artists eyes; making alignment with one vision and creating something that is always unique. Lanzarote is the depiction of art and architecture, by César Manrique, and his ideas are still a great success for reducing the impact of Tourism, on the island, and adding something more specific. The UK needs desperately more creativity through political means, and an art basis for all its market forces, to improve our congruence with the best artistic solution, to managing a true cultural identity of mixed race people here in the UK. Gaia: the artistic and scientific theory of the Earth’s self-sustainable ecosystem, written by James Lovelock is the answer to sourcing the original tools to understanding the Earth, and its ever-changing atmosphere.

The biosphere, reacts and interacts, as an atmosphere being manipulated by the surface of the Earth, Gaia rests during COVID-19, expecting emissions of CO² to fall, however the atmospheric level is now at 417ppm of CO², up from 414.8ppm a year ago (for May).

We have a long way to go, yet it is fathomable that we will be carbon zero by 2050! I will be 70 years of age and will need reminding of the lack of heavenly presence the UK had back in 2020, making CO² rise to cause unconventional political measures to bring it down again, this time however little we know, the government are trying to find solutions, since Brexit, whether it is a vision, I am not sure. There are two ways of casting doubt by a politician: 1. Let’s not revolutionise, for that is up to the people, and we can only put in force the services required for the market to change to a green economy. And 2. We will let the people decide how best to deal with the problem, and then make our own headway until we have found bargaining power to avoid anything too radical.

The living organisms of this planet, like us, are suffering, so, do not forget your mask! The language of the World these days, is one of brimming anticipation, dull deceit, and conspicuousness. We are frightened to step out, and move forward, avoiding high risk zones, yet some are confided in God to see all past experiences come back to fruition as a form of Deja-vu and to make little effort in retaining the required etiquette of today, spacing, masks, and numbers. Imagine a balance of social activity, even communicating to your neighbour in the shop, café, or club, yet being precautious of not spreading any virus, and we feel safe, all of us. “Patience is a virtue, a wait won’t hurt you, in the long run, it’ll serve you.” (Soul II Soul, ‘Our Time Has Now Come’, Vol.2, 1990 – A New Decade, Virgin, UK, 1990). The waiting game is likely to involve more fun at home, and a tidy life of more frugality than before.

In the mean time we must enjoy ourselves and language is the miracle of life, especially Jazz music, from Jazz to Architecture, to the spoken word and of course the book. Music gives us energy to strive forward, so never give up. You must know the outcome of any action you make, what is best and what the other means, another pre-emptive language. Respect your freedom and accept it. A logical society, in which the mind shapes the face. The logos is to identify with the seemingly acceptable, and straight forward in our, society. Unfortunately, entropy can hit us in old age, from birth and as some form of awakening, so rise out of it, and be counted. A sign of life is the reduction in entropy, so do not get caught up in others, problems, if you cannot help, then move forwards. We the people of Britain today, need more radical imagery of the visionary revolution government should be revealing, and a word with Boris to seek as much advice of those working hard to make things change in meaningful, educated ways.

Seek them, and you shall find!
