158 Rules

158_Rules

Child rule is about a child finding their own. Themselves in this mighty world. Because it is about time, we put the children first. There are several ways a child learns: a) from getting it right, b) from making a mistake, c) from copying, & d) from feeling inspired. Too many, too many times; they have not coped intelligently when something goes wrong. There is an aspiration for every child to live in a perfect World. And I feel it is possible to create a perfect bubble around children, to give them unconditional love in the name of God. To release them from evil, and dust, and death, to see light and feel loved and excited. To be fed well and to learn our lessons about the importance of fruit and water, as early as possible.

Rules do not stop (We Are Scientists, PIAS, Master Swan, 2010). Because as we get older and older, we find ourselves surrounded by a system that hurts. Some rebel, some get caught, but what is the point if not equality: among the people of a nation. But we lose our freedom to the system to decide for ourselves unless we go around it, and just feel love for every other soul and artefact. There is a level of acceptance of what is, that allows us to change and scope the market for a business opportunity given the capital and credentials.

So, is child rule, cooking, playtime, medicine & all other freedoms based on peasantry? For the proletariat rule a lot of: how we live. Subsistence living allows for a bottom line of good etiquette, responsibility, and budgeting: i.e.: true happiness. There is no more to have, so, no more is taken or needed. Subsistence living has always been tied to minimalism; what a council estate lacks in aesthetics, can be made up for in its entire interior. The artisanal continents are where Britain takes its inspiration, from: France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and The Netherlands. Through which we discover, British has always been a melting pot of ideas and sustenance. If it were not for the countryside – we would not know it as fair England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and Northern Ireland.

History can get in the way of our ideas about modernity, and we seem to grasp history as a must to keep: while modern becomes a conglomeration of bits of modernity dotted around. If we were to re-organise and re-design this World, we could start again and make it work, but unfortunately that is impossible. The vastness of old paradigms fills me with regret that there is never enough space to try to change. We as Brit’s are clearly, (except for a few), not future thinkers. For we have attached ourselves to the idea that nothing will really change in our lifetime unless we act now. We get one shot, to change the face of England, and then we go on changing with it, whether: wilding, sustaining, mixing, or changing perspective.

Holism is the key to break the mould and insert that modern fit, with soul; with all-natural artistry – then, it is not about the budget, but the form. Simplicity and living creatively like child rule, come first. It is a gambit “changing” say a current Conservative government, but now we have the market to change. And absorb learning to intelligently and emotionally change the face of England. All it takes is communication through the arts and media. It is about taking information and creating applicable pockets of goodness, by a personal discourse of sameness, followed continually, to redefine, and re-affirm the original discourse. For example, sustainable timber buildings constructed and deconstructed, to be reconstructed, from location to location. If you want to move, we can move you. The rule is cradle to cradle for both the future of architecture and man.

Let us make our own rules this time, and not to be judged, when not harming another. (Sir John Stuart Mill, On Liberty, 1859).
