My writing stems from 2001 and I got deeply philosophical, and highly creative at home in Cardiff.

I was inspired by an essay from the Spanish author, Estrella Diégo, entitled: ‘Going Without the Exotic’, based on Gulliver’s Travels, that did not accept his found possessions as useful curios, in order to accept his own exoticism in the light of those seen, as the only ones to be so. By the traditional dominance of the Western philosophical dream, hence the title; by the César Manrique Foundation, Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain.

I made a number of books of “right-on’s”, in the vain of a favourite song at the time, to understand: truths, poetry, philosophy and creative prose. (Newsom, Joanna, 2004, Right-on’s) I plan to publish this book in the future.

I concluded at the turn of the Millennium, in the Year 2000, we should vote for ‘Going Without the Exotic’ as the essay concludes, and similarly return our treasure to its origins, by celebrating the plain and simple, of complexity, and its very nature in mute tones. Also there is a pro-black vibe on behalf of those ancestors who pass down stories of not just black, but ‘Global Oppression’. To not care for your brother or sister, side by side, but to find unequivocal difference, when we were born here, emigrated here, or want occupation of a better life than before. It is complex to realise how history must be attained of a justified equality, by disregarding colour as responsible for it, but human rights of all peoples and nations coming together for the first time in history. An end to ‘Global War’ and the beginning of healing each and every dream by way of helping to listen through empathy, and sharing the wealth of knowledge not just money, hence the purpose of the blog.

It is called ‘Monounio’, by putting 1 & 1 together, ‘Mono’ & ‘Uni’, creating the URL/ Monouni.org, meaning ‘single’ in Greek, and an overall title for all social media platforms, of ‘Monounio’ meaning monastery, also in Greek. By accident, this happened, when my first name Andrew comes from ancient Greek, not just traditionally French or Scottish, but also a Celtic name.
