There is a consistency to the unique quantity/ length, breadth & depth of an object.

In Standardisation, the same dimensions of pre-fabrication arise. But standardisation tends to only become artistically iconic when changed through history.  And the effort and skill that went into designing and making it becomes apparent. Pre-fabrication of the built world on the other hand, may be made of whole numbers, but unique to its project, so, the art of icon mathematically, in a unique standardised project is its repetition of making in popularity by numbers, for ease of building.

Economics and democracy of design make something new and unique as well. An economy of growth does not tend to happen in standardised objects, so, they end up being used in mass industry and services, while quality of design becomes better at a much higher cost, with lower demand, but equates to similar profits, depending on their margin. The balance of supply and demand out runs changes in wealth, but the wealth of the buyer.

The outcome iconifies and outweighs all costs. We all love responsibility, and responsibility of a personality to be uniquely fashionable by tradition of a given vocation. We are simply able to make a better life for ourselves, when we have mastered making something. We may initially say we are not good enough, but that’s not unique, so, we need to practice our craft from knowledge and repeat to re-affirm the lesson. We need a rational psychology of a pre-emptive written conceptual abstract.

To surmise, mine is thus/

1.      To give heaven, to the children, and the environs, to make the complex simple.

2.      Child’s play, like big toys, no glue or fixtures.

3.      Furniture to Architecture, begin with detail or an interior element, as a generator, of the overall design.

4.      Mono-genius, the incipient idea is correct.

5.      Gestalt, to combine all 4 descriptions, we find the whole, is more, than the sum of its parts.

To reaffirm and repeat the Gestalt of Architectural icon, is to combine everything important to me in iconography, under the umbrella, of purist materials, in line with sustainability.
