433 Inspiration

A teacher teaches from their own personal knowledge.
Where does a students inspiration come from?
But to reconceive and interpret a mass, as a new form. To push life forward, in the light and dark of both day and night. To invigorate how the eye follows the light, through the third eye.
We live in a hierarchy of control, sex, status and teaching. But women, can be given more control, to balance the femininity of making, by a maternal touch.
To build a cube out of matchsticks and to put a circle on the ground, or a conical object, or any object, that can be encased and carried, inside; and wrapped around the four walls.
Now we are building structure. To be inspired by this model, we may start to find new forms, a bridge, out of triangulation, flat on top, and structure underneath, carefully to carry a hard-boiled egg. We can also use these structures, to take photographs of shadow, and dark and light, by a directed electric light.
Something to do, to get us thinking about civilization, and its making, to create simple models, out of everyday recycling.
The darkness, can heal, as I have practiced as an Architect before, I pushed for 100% sustainability, and transparency, in the wilderness, or black out glass, only using glass and timber, and as little steel as possible; as an unsustainable building product. To stop extracting iron, a finite resource. But using tin instead.
The Architect has more control over projects, when asked for design advice, by making a name for themselves, or winning a competition. We all want to be bespoke and desired, which eventually the one-off detail leads to new standardisation.
Building and its fabric, can be known in the architecture world, as sexy, through status. But there are few who see both the masculinity, and femininity of architecture in the outer world, looking in. It tends to be an attraction to the instinct of an image.
Maybe we can show our client, simply two images, one of minimalism, one of tradition, to decide where our marriage between Architect & Client join, in new making attitudes.
