420 Slum

Can we heal everyone in the world?
The richest person does not know where to start? Other than themselves. The poorest do not want others to feel sorry for them. No-one of us is different, we all feel the same, because we are all human, so, do not fall for the trap. We must take relativity away from us and get down to the world party; whereby everything is relative to each other.
We are, and can be, a lot of things, at once! One step at a time.
Therefore, there is a practical problem, to heal those without the tools, to express themselves!
And a practical problem to solve, housing and sanitry. Societal structure are poles apart between London and Mogadishu. Everyone has a creative skill, as the Maker, gifted us with, but we have not mentored those worse off, we have struggled for so long, with confidence, to explain, a bewildered, nervous system. To help ourselves keep the pace, of our societal back driven economy making us nervous, whether, we have enough money to go slow enough to cope.
This can lead to the addiction of reward, before we have achieved and procrastination, not to try and fathom, how an image of many blue tarpaulin mud huts can be turned into something of beauty!
We should see in these tropical situations, sunlight and water as commodities to help us design in the Names of their Gods.
To have a view of more than each other, from single abode to a school, to a park, to a university and financial centre; to give back opportunity, combined with self-sustainable forests and grow-your-own, food programmes, with local farming. It is the 1st honours project for a new urban landscape, at architecture school.
A schema must be set out to conjoin the existing city to the sprawl. To design house types and give an identity to the project. The problem is the shift in land space, does the ex-slum, become landfill, for a growing population, then we are not being sustainable. How do we move, from one house to a new house, is there enough joining land? How do we make a house, flatpack/ cradle to cradle, or a timber box, divided into four rooms, that can spin to change views, and another on top? A list of ideas goes on.

We can be a pen-pal, or try to visit the slums, with a local mentor. Sponsor a child’s education, open a soup kitchen and make it sustainable, there are a plethora, of opportunities. Remember those people are living more than 5-10 times the density of a regular council estate in the UK.
So, please, everyday/
STOP
BREATHE
CLOSE YOUR EYES
IMAGINE WHAT YOU WANT TO MAKE
AND DRAW IT
In an Age of Sustainability, we can make a change.
First globally we must recover our senses/ sound, colour, touch, taste and smell. Imagine lavender fields, and balconies of pot plants.
Slum village must reidentify properly, with domesticity.
